Ia diperoleh daripada seseorang yang meninggal dunia dan meninggalkan waris yang layak menerima harta pusaka mengikut Hukum Syarak setelah diuruskan jenazah si mati, dibayar hutang piutangnya dan dilaksanakan wasiatnya (sekiranya ada). Sungguhpun begitu, masih ramai yang belum cakna tentang pengurusan harta pusaka Islam apatah lagi sekiranya ia dikaitkan dengan Zakat. Akademi Zakat (AZKA), Pusat Pungutan Zakat (PPZ-MAIWP) terpanggil untuk menganjurkan webinar bersiri ini bagi memberi pendedahan kepada masyarakat tentang pengurusan harta pusaka menurut Islam, disamping memasukkan elemen zakat terhadapnya. ETIQA-AZKA Corner @ UMT

The 11th AZKA Corner was established in collaboration with Etiqa Takaful and Akademi Zakat (AZKA-PPZ). It was established at the Sultanah Nur Zahirah Library (PSNZ), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT). OBJECTIVES: Provide a comfortable and specific reading corner related to Zakat, Waqf, Islamic Finance and Islamic Social Finance. Apply awareness of the importance of Zakat, especially to students. Provide a conducive space for students to acquire relevant Islamic finance knowledge through the latest reading material. IMPACT The impact of this joint venture is to bring Etiqa Takaful and AZKA-PPZ closer together with the community, in addition to spreading Islamic financial preaching among students and academics and bringing related books so that they are easily accessible to the students and academics. CONTINUOUS EFFORT This effort is not a one-off effort, but rather the latest publications related to Zakat and waqf, especially those published by AZKA-PPZ itself, will donate at least twice a year regularly to PSNZ UMT, to be placed in the AZKA Corner space.
